this one's my Tamagotchi V4.5 / Uratama! specifically the Japanese version. i got it sometime in 2022-2023. i think i prefer the v5 over this one gameplay-wise just because you can raise three Tamagotchi at once on the v5, but still love this one soooo much. i'll probably geek out about it more once i get to making a tamagotchi shrine, but i love the Ura-Tamas and Uratama Town a lot.

the newest addition to my collection as of writing this! my Japanese Tamagotchi V5! also referred to as the Famitama. asked for it around Christmas of 2025 and got it... a month later TT_TT it was worth the wait, though!
this specific shell was a collaboration shell with fashion brand UNIQLO to promote the release of the first Tamagotchi movie, and was likely in stores sometime in 2008. even has a cute little Uniqlotchi on the right side of it's shell! it was missing the key charm that it usually comes with, but that's just fine by me! i absolutely adore it, i definitely see why the V5 is so sought-after.

and while we're here, my figures for the TamaTown Tama-Go! i believe i got these some time in 2024. obviously these are not devices, but i thought that if i showed my TamaSma Cards here, i should show these here, too! not much to say about them yet since i don't have a Tama-Go to use them with, yet...

got this one in June of 2024, that or may. i don't have much to say about this one, not off the top of my head at least. i ordered it along with an iD Station. only ever ran it once... maybe i'll get around to using it again someday.

and the aformentioned iD Station! closest thing we have to a modern home DekaTama, released a whole decade ago, now... i've only ran it once, that being when i was running the iD, since it's made to be played in tandem with that. i remember it being quite fun! i think one of the springs in this one's battery compartment are.. broken? maybe? after i ran it. someday in the future i'd like to learn how to repair tamagotchis, too, so once i do that this'll probably be the first subject i operate on...

my Dream Coffret Tamagotchi P's! got it for my birthday in 2022. very fun, but i WISH p's related stuff wasn't sooooo highly priced... i'd love to be able to get a couple more pierces for it one day... i suppose you could say that for most tamagotchis not in production anymore, though.

first color-screen tamagotchi i got, and also the second-oldest device in my collection next to my purple mini. it is the Tamagotchi Pink Fairy Meets! i believe i got it for christmas in 2018. you can tell it's one of the oldest in my collection because the paint on the faceplate's been scratched away.. oops! i promise i'm not careless with my tamagotchis, this was when i was still in single digits...

another one of these tamagotchis, it's the Tamagotchi On! basically just the English version of the Tamagotchi Meets. i believe i bought it myself in either 2020 or 2021, originally for my sister. but a couple years later, she gave it to me and it's part of my collection now :*p

the last Meets/On in my collection as of writing! my pink Tamagotchi Sweets Meets! got it on Christmas of 2022. i think i originally wanted the yellow one, but honestly? i much prefer this one now. i love the cute little rhinestones on the faceplate.

my Tamagotchi Smart! got it Christmas 2021. it's a special Smart released for the 25th Anniversary! i believe it was based on the black and white shell from the original toy's run in 1996. i remember a lot of people complained about it's touchscreen, and while i understand it, that never really brought the device down any pegs for me. i WILL say though, i'm worried about when i'll eventually have to replace it's battery, seeing as it's rechargeable...

my Tamagotchi Pix, i remember getting it release day in 2021. i remember i had been contemplating ordering it online, but miraculously my local Walmart had actually stocked it! even then i was surprised they stocked it the same day it came out, especially since it was Tamagotchi-Related (this was back when they were first "bringing Tamagotchi back" in the US, and my Walmart had not stocked the On in the past, so i had no clue they'd stock the Pix).
i remember i had a lot of fun with this device, but i only ever ran it once due to just how FAST this thing chugs through batteries. if your getting a Pix for the first time soon and reading this, either be sure to stock up on rechargeable AAs or don't overuse it's camera. i remember i used the camera a bunch, and it ran out of battery the first day of running it!

my Tamagotchi Uni! i got it release-week in 2023. i remember, much like the Pix, i was thinking about just buying it online, but after the last experience, i was convinced that my Walmart would have the Uni! surely if they had the Pix on release day, then they would have the Uni in stock on release day too! and so, i waited a week, returning to the toy isles almost every day, waiting for them to stock it... it was only when we asked a very nice employee who happened to walk past if they were stocking it, that it turned out they had no plans to do so. and i had waited a whoooole week for nothing TT_TT that's okay though, because i got my Uni eventually.

my Tamagotchi Paradise! i got it release day in 2025. i'm going to be completely honest with my opinions on it: it's quite fun gameplay-wise, and i love being able to see the tamagotchis i raised when zooming out! it's like a cute little tamagotchi terrarium! and it's huuuuge size definitely allowed for an increase in game "quality' so to speak, but i wouldn't say it's one of my favorites. the shell design feels kind of... bland? to me? there's not much on it, just two solid colors and a tiny faceplate (which i like, don't get me wrong). i've seen a lot of custom shells for this one which all look really pretty, so i guess that's something positive about the shell? that it acts as a... blank canvas, almost?? but i wish they at least did a little more with all that empty space.

my Digimon Digital Monster X. i remember i bought this at Walmart in either 2022 or 2023, i was going through a bit of a Digimon frenzy then. i've been meaning to learn more about the digimon vpets...
i've only ran it once so far, i remember i got a cute little Renamon X... but i never figured out my way around the battle system, i feel guilty for kind of forgetting about this thing... one day i'll start it up again and become much more knowledgeable about the Digimon devices... TT_TT

my 2024 p1! i got it in 2024 during a road trip. i unfortunately don't have much to say about this one, i haven't used it much yet. i will say, i can understand people's complaints with the shell designs being printed-on instead of hand-painted, but i don't mind that much, it doesn't look too bad on this one. i like the red transparent plastic this one has.
